The Project of new Standards

The standard of breeds today stands a question about the standards very sharply. Those descriptive standards, which are accepted FCI, without what or numbers and measurements, besides weight, they give the right to judges and factory owners to treat standard, as by them it will decide. Certainly, during the bringing what- that not was picture or photograph to the standard, all will compare precisely with this concrete dog, having its merits and deficiencies, but they will be at least present to itself about which it goes speech. At the given moment, the majority of experts visualize Chihuahua as something average between the Japanese Chin, Papillion, by Spitz and by Pug. This resembles children's song "my puppy it is similar a little to the Bulldog and to the Great Dane, to the Newfoundlander and on all sheep dogs at once...».
We already proved, that in Chihuahueno and British un-muzzled toy-dog exist general ancestors, but these are two different breeds according to its designation, that the standards of these breeds should be different. Below we give the standards of these two breeds, on the basis of their HISTORICAL destination. Any standard must be directed toward the retention of primary(aboriginal) signs, and factory owners are obligated to preserve breeds and rock signs, and not to add the blood of other breeds, therefore, that such puppies better are sold. Give then let us divide generally all breeds by two: those, which are sold well, and those, which badly are sold.

the dry- strong or strong- dry type of constitution in Chihuahueno is determined by the straight designation of this dog - catching of rodents and small animals, with this type of constitution the dog is mobile and has high reaction rate

The parallelism of the lines of forehead and snout is determined by the best streamlining with the run.

At BUMTD is impossible the absence of fontanella of up to 3 years, because, are added the blood of Japanese Chin, in which the fontanella is overgrown as the minimum to 1 year, there are the cases, when the spring of overgrown up 6 years old, but this cannot be occasion for the prohibition for the tribal use of dogs.

Long muzzle is necessary to dog for the regulation of respiration with the rapid run. In the long muzzle air manages to be heated and does not irritate lungs, also it makes it possible to analyze a larger quantity of smells, improving by this the hunting specific character of the dog of this breed. Short muzzle leads to the disturbance of the thermostatic control of the body of dog, it decreases scent and reduces its fitness for work.

To require of the ancient species of full set teeth formulas with the condition of genetically fixed oligodontia is to require impossible. Specifically, with the long arm and the long blade the high mill of neck is possible, which is necessary for the detection of output from the high grass. The equal length of arm and blade gives the optimum angle of the articulation of arm- blade articulation, that it does not make possible for dog rapidly to get tired with the prolonged run.

Under the conditions of Central America the presence of undercoat in dog is excess. Because in Xolo are born downy puppies, that in Chihuahueno, as the descendant of ancient species, advantage uses long-haired (original) variant. Harsh coat is required for the inhabiting in the dry high rigid grass, at a temperature of air higher than 26˚C. The presence of thick undercoat in Chihuahueno testifies about the flow of the blood of Spitz-like, thin long hair - about the flow of the blood of Japanese Chin, and long combings after the ears - about the flow of the blood of Papillion or Falen. Short needle-shaped fur is characteristic, in the majority of the cases, for Pug.

The limitation of colour by Chihuahueno is grounded on the absence by the wild ancestor the other colours.
